Environmental audit
Toshiba carries out internal environmental audits in accordance with Toshiba Group's Environmental Audit System for each manufacturing and non-manufacturing location in order to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, risk aversion and the environmental conservation level. This internal audit is carried out regularly once per year by Toshiba Corporate Division or each Toshiba Client Solutions CO., Ltd. Group. In Toshiba Client Solutions CO., Ltd., we have also introduced the Environmental audit into overseas manufacturing bases from fiscal year 2004, and aim at improving the environmental commitment level in the entire group.
