１．Cookies

1. 1. "Cookies" are small packets of information that Web servers transmit to visitors' or users' browsers for the effective operation of the Internet, which may be stored on the customer's disk as files. Use of cookies enables the web server to record the websites the customer has visited.
   Use of cookies can identify the computer used by the customer. However, it cannot identify the user individually.
2. 2. Our Company may use the customer's IP address recorded on the web server (the number which can identify the computer used by the customer) for the following purposes. The IP address cannot identify the user individually.
   1. (a) Detect the cause to solve a problem that occurred with the web server.
   2. (b) Manage the web server.

Our Company's web server may use cookies for the following purposes: Improve the contents of websites or e-mails in order to better meet your individual expectations or requirements, and customize or personalize such contents. We may disclose data which has statistically processed information obtained by use of cookies. Please note that such data does not contain any information which can identify the customer individually.
4. 4. The customer can set browsers to refuse cookies or to provide warning whenever cookies are received.

２．Web Beacons

"Web beacons" or "Clear GIF" is an invisible GIF that tells us how many visitors visited the page or access certain contents. Our Company may also use these Web Beacons or other technologies to tailor the site to provide better customer service. These Web Beacons often work in conjunction with cookies but browsers can be set to refuse cookies or to provide warning whenever cookies are being received. Web beacons will still detect visits to these pages but we do not use this technology to access personally identifiable information.
